On August 23rd. 2013, a delegation of ME Schoolled by Prof. Feng GAO who serves as the director of State key laboratoryof Mechanical System and VibrationvisitedChina First Heavy Industries(CFHI).The delegation was composed of 10 professors, including Prof. Zhongqin LIN who serves as the Deputy President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Prof. Lifeng XI who serves as the Executive Dean of ME School, Prof. Jingyi WU who serves as theGeneral Secretary of ME School and other backbone teachers.Mr. Shengfu WU who serves as theboard chairman of CFHI, Mr. Ke MA who serves as the president of CFHI, Mr. Baozhong WANG who serves as the vice president of CFHI together with staffs from CFHI gave a warm welcome to the delegation.Both sides exchanged in-depth views on the development situation of heavy machinery in China, technological innovation, new products development and other mutual concerned topics.

During the meeting,both Mr. Shengfu WU and Prof. Zhongqin LIN expressed strong desire to promote the mutual scientific researchcooperation on the basis of combing respective advantages fully.In consent on having achieved great cooperation results, both sides carried on a deep discussionon high strength alloy tooth cutting, the flexible rolling and other concrete scientific topics.Accompanied by Mr. Shengfu WU, the delegation visited the Heavy Equipment Division, some production branch plants of Roll Plant Division and Casting Steel Division.There is no doubt that this visit laid a good foundation for the deep cooperation in next stage.
