Students who participate Tyco Engineering projects, or received Tyco scholarship has priority in application this summer internship .
Considering two of positions will focus on software testing/developing, we expect students with similar major to present their application, maybe not from your college.
Wish you can help to coordinate this requirement.

The internship will start from July 4, 2011 and end on Aug. 26, 2011, 8 weeks totally.
Tyco will offer RMB100 per working day/8 hours allowance, free working lunch and shuttle bus. Student will bear the related IIT if it happens for allowance.
The intern students will be covered by commercial accident insurance.

Position: Software Engineer (Intern) – Security Products
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and support a range of software applications for security products. Tasks include software design, coding, code review, documentation, module testing and creation of test cases as well as input into system concept and design.

Required Job Skills:
Knowledge of software development tools and methodologies, object oriented
Familiar with system programming in C, C++, C#, VB, .NET, MFC and COM.
Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, problem solving, and an ability to learn quickly
Familiar with UML is a plus
Good communication skills.

Industry design intern:
Responsibility
1. Assist Mechanical Engineer to develop new styles and designs for potable gas instrument/respirator mask.
2. Work to improve the appearance, safety, and usefulness of industrial products.

Requirements
1. Can use 3d software to create visible product model.
2. Industrial design or engineering major is required.
3. Willing to share different opinions and co-work with colleagues.
4. Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork and Accountability. 
5. Fluent spoken and written in English.

Chemical Intern:
Responsibility
1. Assist the Chemical Engineer, Electrical Engineer in relative projects.
2. Capability of Chemical experiment esp. on breathing air filtering treatments or Toxic sensor.
3. Filtering medium as activated carbon, melted polypropylene and glass fibre treatment documentation research.
4. Data collecting, analysis report .

Requirements
1. Engineering education background. Material chemistry, Analytical chemistry or relative subject is preferred.
2. Chemical experiment manipulation skill is preferred.
3. Willing to share different opinions and co-work with colleagues.
4. Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork and Accountability. 
5. Fluent spoken and written in English.
