On Sep 15. 2010, Raymond C. Bierzynski, Executive Director, Global Functional Leader, General Motors Corp., John. R. Walsh, Global Expert on Air Conditioner Compressor andMatthew Schroeder, Director of Electrical & HVAC, Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, Co., Ltd. visited the Institute of Refridgeation and Cryogenics, School of Mechanical Engineering, discussing with Prof. CHEN Jiangping on the research status of new refrigerants.ZHANG Jianjun, Vice Dean of Institute of Chemical Industry, Zhejiang Province, also joined them.

Prof. Chen first introduced today's market demand for  motor refrigerants and its research progress. Then, atttendees carried out heated discussion on various topics, for instance, new refrigerants development, existing refrigerants improvement, motor refrigerants fitting, etc. Raymond C. Bierzynski affirmed research achievements jointed made by Pan Asia Shanghai and Prof. Chen's team and expected further collaboration between Pan Asia Shanghai and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
