Biography::
Wei Liu
Principal researcher of Japan Atomic energy Agency and Associate Editor in Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology. Her research at JAEA won several awards, including Youth Award in Fundamental Nuclear Research and Development Initiative(Japan Science and Technology Agency, 2013), President Award(Japan Atomic Energy Agency, 2006), and Best Presentation Award (AESJ, 2004 and JSME 1999). Visiting Scholar of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2014 to 2015. BS, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China in 1992. MS, Shanghai Power Equipment Research Institute, China in 1995. Ph.D degree from University of Tsukuba, Japan in 2000. Her research interests are thermal hydraulics in reactor system, new measuring technology development and fundamental heat transfer mechanism in boiling phenomenon. She has experience on CHF modeling, CHF correlation for BWR core, reactor thermal hydraulic design and thermal hydraulic experiments under high pressure, high temperature conditions.
