On May 11, 2010, Professor Katsuya Fukuda, Professor Qiusheng LIU, Associate Professor Tomohisa Dan, Associate Professor Akira Sou from Graduate School of Maritime Sciences, Kobe University visited ME. Professors from both universities made technical presentations (see the appendix in details). 

Besides exchanging academic research, they had an extensive number of discussions on expanding and strengthening the partnerships between both sides. A General Agreement has been signed, focusing on faculty and student exchange and research collaborations, hoping a significant number of initiatives have been developed and implemented between two universities.
